1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Meet-n-Split mobile application ("App"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Meet-n-Split provides a platform for users to:

• Track and split expenses with friends, family, and groups
• Create and manage expense groups
• Send and receive payment reminders
• Analyze spending patterns and financial insights
• Settle debts and manage balances

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Responsibilities

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• You may not share your account with others

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use Meet-n-Split for personal, non-commercial purposes to track and split expenses.

4.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purposes
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent expense information
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or other users' accounts
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated means to access the App without permission
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Premium Subscriptions

Meet-n-Split offers premium subscription plans with additional features. Subscription fees are charged through your App Store or Google Play account.

5.2 Billing

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• You will be charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Manage subscriptions through your App Store or Google Play settings
• No refunds for partial periods or unused time

5.3 Free Trial

If offered, free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.

7. Content and Data

7.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all expense data, notes, and information you input into the App. By using Meet-n-Split, you grant us a limited license to store and process this data to provide the Service.

7.2 Data Accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of all expense information you enter. We are not responsible for disputes arising from incorrect or fraudulent expense entries.

8. Intellectual Property

Meet-n-Split and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without permission.

9. Privacy

Your use of Meet-n-Split is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

10.1 "As Is" Service

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE OPERATION.

10.2 No Financial Advice

Meet-n-Split provides expense tracking tools only. We do not provide financial, legal, or tax advice. Consult professionals for financial guidance.

10.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of data or expenses
• Disputes between users
• Unpaid debts or financial losses
• Service interruptions or errors

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Meet-n-Split, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your use of the App
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Disputes with other users

12. Termination

12.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

12.2 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities.

13. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law
